The Florrie, Liverpool – Wedding

Today we performed at Danielle and Marc’s wedding at the newly renovated Florence Insitute in Liverpool, “The Florrie”.

The happy couple booked us to perform an afternoon acoustic set during their meal followed by our evening sets and disco throughout the night.

During their wedding breakfast we played laid back acoustic classics such as Sitting on the Dock of the bay, Hallelulah along with some more modern songs such as Chasing Cars, The first time I ever saw your face and You do something to me. We finished the acoustic set with a sing-a-long classic by The Beatles, Hey Jude. It was great to get everyone in the audience joining in and waving their arms in the air.

After the meal we then played some warm-up disco music as the evening guests arrived before we started our live sets.

We kicked the live sets off with a track we had learnt especially for the bride and groom, a Jason Mraz and Colbit Caillat duet, Lucky. We then played our two sets and kept the dance floor packed until a big finale at the end of the night with eveyone in a circle around the Bride and Groom.

We had a great night and based on the feedback we got last night, everyone else did too. 🙂
