Today we’re heading back to Congleton (Our first trip back to Congleton since our recent triumphant appearance at the TWIA North West Wedding Awards!)

We’ve been hired by Richard and Rebecca, Richard is actually an old friend of mine, I used to play in a Soul band with him and his brother Adrian about 15-20 years ago. Richard (Or Dickie as I used to know him) is an amazing Trumpet player, a great fella and he’s getting married tomorrow to the lovely Rebecca.

They’ve hired us to give them our Ultimate Package, which is an hours worth of laid back semi-acoustic guitar, piano and harmony songs and then later on in the evening we’re doing Richard and Rebecca’s first dance live (a lovely choice of Somewhere Over The Rainbow today) followed by two sets of fantastic up-tempo rock n roll, soul, pop, indie and rock  with our fabulous Delta-Disco to finish.

It’s always nice to play for old friends at a lovely venue such as Chimney House Hotel, so we’re really looking forward to partying all night with everyone.
